39 year Old Paul Dobbs Dies in Supersport Event

Tragedy has marred the celebrations this afternoon at the Grandstand following the news that seasoned TT veteran Paul Dobbs was killed in this afternoons Supersport 2 race.

The New Zealand racer came off his bike at Ballygarry.

He'd been competing since 1999, and recorded a personal best placing of sixth in 2000.

His family in New Zealand have now been informed.

Kelly Foran sent us this report from the Grandstand.
