The Met Office has issued a new weather warning about snow showers later.
The yellow warning runs from 6pm tonight until 6am tomorrow.
Forecasters say wintry showers throughout today will mostly be confined to ground over 1,000 feet - but this evening and tonight snow could fall as low as 400 or 500 feet
They say one or two inches could fall over lower areas.
