A new feature cold be coming to an Island nature reserve aimed at welcoming more wildlife to the area.
Manx Wildlife Trust has put forward a planning application to create a new wildlife pond at Ballachurry Nature Reserve in Port St Mary.
In its proposals, the trust says the site would improve habitats for invertebrates like dragonflies and damselflies.
If approved, a dipping platform would also be installed on the banks of the pond for educational purposes.
