A bar in the heart of Douglas is striving to be one of the premier live music venues on the Island.
The Basement, on Wellington Street, will host live gigs on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
Its mission is to promote local music talent and attract off-Island artists.
Its interior was inspired by the Library Bar at New York's Hudson Hotel.
