A new trophy will be presented at this years Manx Music, Speech and Dance Festival in memory of a 'champion' of the event.
Pat Corrin passed away in September last year and dedicated over 40 years of work to the festival, creating a number of new speech classes for the event.
The Pat Corrin Memorial Trophy will be awarded to the overall winner of the childrens Spoken Word classes.
Festival vice chairman, Anne Clarke, says Pat made 'an enormous contribution' to both the festival and arts on the Island as a whole.
