Radically updating the technology available within the Manx police force will help to speed up the Island's criminal justice system.
That's the message from the Chief Constable - this week plans for a new operating system called CONNECT were unveiled.
It's the first major investment in technology by the constabulary in over a decade - once it's in place officers will begin to increase what they can do digitally.
This will include having digital case files, digital evidence and a digital workspace - Gary Roberts says removing paper from the court system will ensure speedier access to justice:
