Changes are being made to appointments for hearing aid patients on Island later this year.
Currently those needing their devices adjusted or repaired attend weekly drop-in sessions at Noble's Hospital - under the new system patients will have to book their own individual slot at the clinic from March 2.
Head of Audiology, Dr Stephen Griffiths, says switching to an appointment structure will mean people get a guaranteed consultation with the audiologist at a time which suits them and to avoid lengthy waits.
The clinics will be on the same days once the changes come into effect - booking can be done at 650 407, email to audiology.nobles@gov.im or by using the ‘contact us’ button on the Audiology Service Facebook page.
