New traffic signs are being installed in Port St Mary to reflect new speed limits in the village's residential roads.
The Department of Infrastructure is replacing current signs with 20mph speed limits, and installing flashing lights to highlight drivers to take extra care.
Calls have been made in recent years for Scoill Phurt le Moirrey to be protected by a low speed zone.
The department says it's rolling out the new speed limits across the island, with the next stage expected in Douglas and Onchan.
