A new service is being started to provide more support for job seekers in the North.
The job centre is expanding to include drop-in sessions twice a week at Ramsey Town Hall starting from Tuesday next week (August 6).
The government says the move is aimed at making services more accessible to people outside of Douglas.
It's been welcomed by chair of Ramsey Town Commissioners, Andy Cowie, who says it will reduce unnecessary travel for northern residents and compliment other amenities at Ramsey Town Hall and Library.
