A new Hospital Youth Service has been developed to support young people living with long term health conditions.
Bridge the Gap and Manx Care have appointed Ben Melling as Hospital Youth Coordinator, who aims to raise self-esteem and promote independence for those feeling isolated.
He'll be working within the hospital and the community, working with other services to increase mental and physical wellbeing.
The youth service is based at the Bridge the Gap Pod within Noble's, and is now a space where young people can meet with Ben or attend drop-in sessions.
