A new online booking system has launched to allow people to book their Covid booster jabs.
Older adults on the Island are among the first to use this new system, which will help fill up available appointments and lessen the pressure on the 111 service.
At the moment, it’s only available to people aged 65 and over and those who are clinically vulnerable, but as the system is developed it will be opened to further age groups.
The booking process involves filling in an online form which checks eligibility and the person will then be sent an email with their appointment date and time.
Anyone who has already got an appointment in the post should still keep to that appointment.
The government will update when new age groups are invited to use the system, and the public are asked not to call 111 while waiting for their age group to be called.
