Douglas will get a new mayor this week.
The capital's council is due to meet on Wednesday afternoon for its annual meeting.
On the agenda is electing a mayor and appointing a deputy mayor and mayoress.
The meeting, which is open to the public, starts at 3pm in the Council Chamber in Douglas City Hall.
