The Island's capital will get a new mayor next month after a councillor was selected by local authority members.
Councillor Debra Anne Marie Pitts will serve as the Mayor of Douglas for the coming municipal year.
Mrs Pitts, who represents Derby Ward, is part of a political dynasty - both her mother Dot Pitts and father Stephen Pitts have both held the office.
Her selection still needs to be confirmed at the council's annual general meeting, which takes place on Wednesday, May 10th.
