The Island's 8th Manx Bard has been announced.
Michael Manning takes over the role from Owen Atkinson, who has spent the last year as the Island's 'most worthy poet.'
The cultural initiative has been running since 2015, with several Bardic Chairs established over the British Isles.
Michael will spend the next 12 months engaging and inspiring the community in poetry and attending off-Island events, helping to highlight Manx culture.
