The government has launched a new incentive as part of the LoveIOM gift card, encouraging residents to spend locally during the week.
'Why Not Weekdays?' offers consumers 25% cashback, up to £50 per day, on purchases at participating venues from Monday to Thursday.
Over 40 hospitality businesses are registered to the scheme, which was launched last year to boost local spending.
