A new, state-of-the-art lifeboat is set to come to the Island this weekend.
Peel Lifeboat Station will welcome its new Shannon class all-weather vessel on Sunday which will be the first boat of its type on the Isle of Man.
It's expected to arrive into Peel Bay at 1.35pm on the day and the crew on board will then put on a display in the bay or outside the breakwater to show off the new craft's abilities.
Meanwhile, a formal naming ceremony for it is scheduled for Saturday, June 27 with more details on it to come in due course.
