The new ruler of Iran is reported to have built a global property empire with the help of a company based on the Isle of Man.
Mojtaba Khamenei's said to have used Manx-registered Birch Ventures Ltd, according to numerous media reports.
The company has its address listed in Athol Street in Douglas.
Mr Khamenei's father, the Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was assassinated by an American airstrike last month.
