The Manx National Heritage have launched their latest development at the Manx Museum, the iMuseum.
Situated along the road at Kingswood Grove it gives the public free access to thousands of historical documents and artefacts that were all painstakingly digitised for easy access.
It’s been a major undertaking for the MNH, the building alone cost £1 million, with half a million spent on archiving thousands of old newspapers.
Manx National Heritage also hopes to make the iMuseum website accessible from your own home later this year, however at present you can only access the site within the iMuseum building.
Documentation officer Jude Dicken has said there is a vast variety of topics you can research, from the Island during wartime to the locals reactions to the theories of English Naturalist, Charles Darwin.
