MHK Bill Henderson says a new healthcare bill to regulate professionals is a ‘small but important’ piece of legislation.
Earlier this week the Department of Health Member took the Health Care Professionals Bill through its second reading in the House of Keys.
It’s in an effort to introduce a process of five-year revalidation whereby doctors, chiropractors and osteopaths have to have their fitness to practice confirmed by the General Medical Council.
