The new headteacher at Foxdale Primary School says she's 'honoured' to be taking up the role.
Anna Griffiths will begin her new role on September 1 when she takes over from Ann Jessop who will retire this summer after 26 years of teaching on the Island.
Miss Griffiths adds she wants to build on the schools strengths and successes and looks forward to building relationships with children, staff, parents and the wider community.
She's also thanking Onchan School for their support where she's been deputy headteacher since 2013.
