More focus is being put on strengthening links between Island students and the local economy.
That's according to the University College Isle of Man which says it wants to give new opportunities to the next generations of the Manx workforce.
The education facility was rebranded earlier this year - since then staff have been focussing on how students can better serve the Island's community and business industries.
It says it's identified areas of growth and will work to help equip students with desirable attributes and skills to enter into those areas.
As well as new courses the UCM has also formed a new student association which will work independently to become the 'voice' of the students.
