The Department of Health and Social Care wants a new eyecare strategy for the Island.
The department says it wants to treat people on-Island, so they don't have to travel to the UK.
It wants cash to launch the service at Noble's Hospital and also provide treatments which aren't currently available here.
The DHSC hopes the new strategy will be up and running by October.
