Restructured Government in Operation From Today
After a turbulent past 18 months for the Manx Government, today heralds a new beginning says Chief Minister Tony Brown.
The major reshuffle, which has seen the introduction of 6 new Departments equipped with new Ministers, is seen as the most significant change to Manx Politics since the introduction of Minister back in the mid 80s.
The new Department for Economic Development headed up by former Treasury Minister Alan Bell is the focal point of the restructuring.
Due to the short time scale in which everything had to be organised we asked Chief Minister Tony Brown if service provision is going to suffer as a consequence.
