The new-look Council of Ministers is an opportunity for the Isle of Man to have a 'fresh start'.
Yesterday Howard Quayle announced who he's selected to head up the eight government departments - choosing eight MHKs who were returned at the General Election.
In keeping with the recommendations of Lord Lisvane's review of Tynwald he didn't appoint any MLCs to the posts.
However he says he hasn't ruled out using the Members of the Legislative Council as departmental members:
Ramsey MHK Lawrie Hooper will submit a motion later this month asking Tynwald not to give MLCs jobs.
