Pubs, bars, and nightclubs will be getting a new code of practice - if Tynwald approves new regulations.
The code is due to be laid before the court during its July sitting in two weeks' time (July 16).
In it are guidelines for securing public safety, preventing crime or public nuisance, protecting children, and promoting high standards in the hospitality industry.
It'll also reflect other changes to regulations governing the way licensed premises are run.
