There are plans for a new classroom building at Henry Bloom Noble Primary School in Douglas.
Education Minister Daphne Caine announced her department wants to demolish what's left of the former postgraduate medical building at the site.
She was responding to a question in Tynwald from Douglas Central MHK Ann Corlett, with the minister saying she hoped the site would be cleared this summer.
