Noble’s Hospital and The British Heart Foundation have joined forces to provide the Island with an advanced cardiac scanner.
The machine is the latest equipment in cardiovascular ultrasounds and provides 3D imaging of the heart.
It means analysis can be done on-Island with the results back on the same day.
Specialist clinical physiologist Steve Berrisford says it will also help reduce waiting times as it can scan patients quicker and more thoroughly, with more accurate and consistent results:
