Commissioners in the town say, following ongoing talks with Manx Utilities, a further four charging ports will be rolled out in the town over the coming months.
Two new ones will be installed in the two-hour disc zone on the George Paddock Car Park, off Farrants Way whilst the existing facility on the Chapel Lane Car Park will be upgraded to accommodate four charging points in tital.
The local authority adds the existing EV points at Chapel Lane show there's demand for the facilities and that officials are pleased to be assisting MUA with rolling out the infrastructure.
Officials in the area say more information will be given when the points are commissioned.
