A national debate on the issues set to affect the Isle of Man will be instigated as part of the new government restructure.
It will be led by the Cabinet Office which is headed up by Minister of Policy and Reform Chris Robertshaw.
Policy and strategy needs to be drawn up to address numerous issues including the demographic changes of the Island’s population which will affect the welfare state.
Mr Robertshaw says he hopes the Isle of Man can lead by example.
He says it’s not simply a case of telling people that change will happen:
