A new bridge has been installed in Glen Maye as part of the government's plan to improve the Island's glens.
A pathway in the area was restored last year, and has been open to the public since November.
The Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture will continue to update bridges, steps and pathways in many of the Island's 18 glens.
Further improvement works in the Glen Maye area will begin later this year.
