A 5-week trial has started to see if Islanders make use of a direct air route with Jersey.
Blue Island's will operate the route which they say comes following engagement with the Island's business community.
The trial will enable the airline to better understand the viability of launching a scheduled route on a permanent basis.
If a success a permanent route would be introduced early next year.
