A new accreditation scheme is being launched for hospitality and tourism businesses on the Isle of Man.
The Safe, Clean & Legal COVID-19 accreditation scheme from Visit IOM is being run in conjunction with quality assesment provider, Quality in Tourism (QiT).
The QiT accreditation will involve an independent third party assessment, which will be done annually and grades a business as safe and compliant based on a number of strict factors.
These include cleaning protocols and compliance, public safety measures and staff training, ensuring the accreditation framework remains robust and relevant to provide increased consumer confidence.
It'll be offered to Manx accommodation, attraction providers and taste eateries free of charge.
Meanwhile, QiT will hold a series of training webinars on the matter over the coming months with the first series of them taking place in December.
To register for those and to find out more about the initative you can visit the Visit Isle of Man website.
