A man whose feud with a neighbour led to pulling a knife has been placed on probation for a year.
William Wesley Bolton of Pairk Ollay in Ramsey admitted provoking behaviour and carrying a blade in public when he appeared before High Bailiff Jayne Hughes at Douglas Courthouse.
The court heard the 39 year old had been friends with a man in the same street but the two had fallen out.
On July 6, there was an argument outside his home when Bolton pulled the knife - but threw it away when another neighbour intervened.
Mrs Hughes placed him on probation for 12 months and banned him from buying alcohol for six months.
He was also ordered to pay £125 costs.
