Nearly 3,000 cases involving motoring offences have gone before Manx courts over a five-year period.
The figure was revealed by the Attorney General in Tynwald this week - who stated there were 2,862 between October 1, 2013 and September 30 this year.
He also reported that, of those, 14 were found not guilty following trial.
It came in response to a question from Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK Jason Moorhouse.
