The emergency services say they received almost 2,500 999 calls last month.
In July, the Emergency Services Joint Control Room says there were 2,470 calls to the 999 line.
Of those, 1,270 were for police, with 1,311 to the ambulance service and 143 directed to the Fire and Rescue Service.
Over the course of the month, the control room says it answered calls in an average of 1.5 seconds.
