The government's spent nearly £100,000 to help stop drowning on the world's largest tropical lake in Africa, according to figures from the RNLI.
A grant of £99,993 was awarded to the charity from the International Development Budget.
It was used to support the RNLI's Lake Victoria Drowning Prevention Project, which saves lives in Tanzania.
The lifeboat charity's been teaching water safety in schools there, and working with local lifesaving organisations.
