A Manx nationalist organisation has voiced objections to proposals for a new resort in the north of the Island.
Mec Vannin says it's against the plans to turn Glen Truan in Bride into a luxury resort, describing it as an unsuitable site for development.
Party secretary Cristl Jerry says the organisation's primary concern is damage and degradation of a unique landscape and environment.
On Facebook, the party says the site is too close to the Ayres nature reserve - and development in the area could threaten plants and animal life there.
