Local charity - Manx Wildlife Trust - has been counting wallabies on Island using thermal imaging.
A UK company was commissioned to carry out a survey of the number of wallabies in the Ballaugh Curragh Area of Special Scientific Interest.
It was done using drones and thermal cameras.
The charity says they got some 'interesting results' which will be published later in the year.
3FM spoke to the CEO of the Manx Wildlife Trust, Leigh Morris, who explained why the survey was done:
