The Manx Wildlife Trust has appointed their first Biosphere Artist in Residence.
Local artist, Clare Payne has been chosen to take up the year long post, which is in partnership with UNESCO Biosphere Isle of Man and funded by the Isle of Man Arts Council.
The aim of the residency is to connect people with Manx nature through art, and promote our unique culture.
Clare Barber, DEFA Minister and Vice-Chair of UNESCO Biosphere Isle of Man, hopes the residency will encourage people to be curious about and appreciate Manx nature.
