A musician who defrauded the benefits system out of £1,900 will be sentenced in October.
49 year old Stewart Gray of The Park in Onchan didn't tell officials he'd worked as a musician between May and September last year.
He admitted two counts of making false representations to obtain benefits.
Magistrates bailed him to appear in court again on October 1.
