New measures are being taken to improve bathing water quality in Peel while work continues to progress the area’s sewage treatment scheme.
The Manx Utilities Authority have confirmed that raw sewage will now be pumped into the sea only on a receding tide; a move suggested by the local authority according to Peel Chair, Hazel Hannan:
