The Isle of Man was mentioned in the UK's House of Commons yesterday during a question about assisted dying.
Liberal Democrat MP for Bath Wera Hobhouse asked if government time could be used to debate such laws in the UK - saying the Isle of Man and Jersey are considering a change in the law.
However, Conservative Leader of the House of Commons Penny Mordaunt said the government wouldn't start any such debate.
She said backbenchers would have to bring the topic up in parliament.
