Douglas Council's asking people to move vehicles from the Bottleneck Car Park when it's safe to do so.
It says after waves washed into the car park at high tide, it has reports the force of the water managed to shift kerbstones and pieces of pavement.
It says it looks as though the area will need repairing, and the car park may need to shut.
But it says it doesn't want anyone risking their safety, so drivers should only enter the car park when it's safe.
