The Department of Education, Sport and Children has made a new offer to teaching unions to try to end a long-running dispute.
The National Association of Head Teachers sent a summary of the proposals to its members, who were facing off with the government over pay and conditions.
A £1.5 million lump sum would see teachers get up to £2,850, and the department has also offered annual pay talks.
Unions would also be included n talks about the new Education Bill under the offer.
