The Mountain Road will remain closed overnight and for tomorrow morning’s commute.
The Department of Infrastructure says the closure will be reviewed mid-morning.
Due to the closure, it’s expected the Coast Road and Ramsey/Kirk Michael/Douglas route will experience heavier than usual traffic in the morning.
The Creg Ny Baa is open as usual during this time and is accessible from Onchan and Douglas.
