A planned closure of the Mountain Road for tomorrow, Friday, August 1, will no longer be going ahead.
It's because works on the southern section of the road are being completed ahead of schedule by 5pm today, Thursday, July 31.
The road will open as planned following these works.
And the Department of Infrastructure will now no longer need to close the road the following day (Friday).
