Part of the Mountain Road shuts today as work gets underway to prepare for the TT.
The road will close from 9.30am from the Bungalow to the Creg ny Baa while the Department of Infrastructure carries out work.
Delays on other roadworks meant it's getting underway slightly later than planned.
It's thought the programme of work - which includes surface repairs, line painting, and signs - will take a month to finish.
