Mountain Road to close for 12 days next month

Motorists face 12 days of disruption next month when the Mountain Road is shut for 'essential maintenance'.

The Department of Infrastructure will carry out work on the carriageway at the Waterworks and the Mountain Mile:

The road closure will be in place from April 11th to April 23rd between the Creg-ny-Baa and Ramsey Hairpin.

Minister Phil Gawne says preparation works for the TT will also be carried out at the same time:
