The Mountain Road has now re-opened following a collision on the highway this morning.
The section between Brandywell and the Creg ny Baa had closed due to a crash where a car had been rolled.
Authorities have confirmed there have been no serious injuries, but add it comes just a few hours into some speed restrictions have been relaxed.
Officers are therefore asking motorists to slow down and drive with care.
