The Mountain Road has ranked eighth in a top ten list of the world's best drives compiled by a UK newspaper.
The Telegraph's list calls the TT course 'the best-known motorcycle racing circuit in the world', and singles out Snaefell as the best section.
In its article, the newspaper recommends driving it in the direction of racing, from Ramsey to Douglas.
It describes the route as it climbs over the mountain, but wisely advises drivers to 'avoid race weeks'.
